DIG Training and Wellness, Brianna Lui is acting as a health coach and not as a physician assistant, or a mental health provider. Health and wellness coaching provides educational, supportive, sustainable behavioral and individualized lifestyle recommendations in the areas of nutrition, exercise, sleep, and relaxation. Lab work may be utilized in conjunction with coaching to aid in further personalizing these lifestyle plans. They are not used to diagnose or treat diseases or other medical disorders. If there are medical concerns, they will be shared and a referral may be recommended. However, it is the clients responsibility to follow up with the appropriate healthcare provider for proper work up, diagnosis and treatment.
As a health coach, DIG Training and Wellness, Brianna Lui, primarily educates and motivates clients to assume more personal responsibility for their health by adopting a healthy attitude, lifestyle, and diet. While people generally experience greater health and wellness as a result of embracing a healthier DIG Training and Wellness, Brianna Lui does not promise or guarantee improvement in symptoms, feelings or protection from future illness.
Most people require at least 3-6 months of consistent coaching in order to fully integrate in lifestyle and behavior changes. However, results are not guaranteed. This can differ person-to-person and the decision will ultimately come from the agreement between the coach and client.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
DIG Training and Wellness provides wellness health coaching, education and support. We will sometimes utilize lab work depending on the state and as determined between the coach and client.
Though there are licensed health providers in the business, we are working solely as a health and wellness coach; We will not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Coaching is NOT a substitute for medical care.
SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be made 24 hours or more in advance. Any day-of cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee; No refunds. If cancellations occur often, I understand DIG Training and Wellness may have to re-evaluate whether I am truly ready for lifestyle changes, and I may not be able to reschedule.
FEE POLICY
Payment is due prior to the first visit - we do not accept health insurance. Fees on the website are typically charged monthly, unless otherwise stated (ie. 3 month packages or other packages). Labs are not included in the fee as these may differ person to person; they will be billed separately through either DIG Training and Wellness or the labs/supplement companies themselves (RUPA, Fullscript, etc)
INSURANCE
As a coaching service, DIG Training and Wellness does not accept health insurance. Some of the lab work or supplements can be submitted to certain insurance companies or HSA. DIG Training and Wellness is not responsible for submitting requests to insurance for reimbursement as it is the clients sole responsibility to so should they choose.
COMMUNICATION
Patients/clients understand and agree they will utilize the HIPAA compliant electronic medical record app, Practice Better, for messaging my coach: Coaching responses will occur within 24-48 business hours.
We do not provide emergency support
TECHNOLOGY USE
All data is handled securely via HIPAA-compliant EMR. By using these services, the client consents to electronic communication and storage of data on this secure EMR.
MARKETING
DIG Training and Wellness will always ask permission if they want to use the client’s story for marketing purposes. The clients name will never be revealed in these instances. This can be further discussed with the client and coach and will only be done if there is a mutual and signed agreement.
SOCIAL MEDIA
It is okay to “tag” @digtrainwell on Instagram. However, clients acknowledge they may not post any profanity, false or inappropriate media or disrespect to DIG Training and Wellness. Clients are not permitted to take and post any screenshots of video calls, emails or text messages.
